Welcome to the St-Paul river-Aiahtshimeu Hipu virtual museum project! 

Here, you can visit a digital reconstruction of a small Innu camp, along St-Paul River, on Quebec’s Lower North Shore, in Canada. The Innus are one of the many Indigenous people who live in Canada.  

Important note: the browser-based version of the camp is a heavily trimmed down version of the downloadable game that you can download from this page. 

This digital campsite is part of a broader Digital Archaeology on the Lower North Shore project that has been running since 2019. You can learn more about the project here ( https://dianemm.itch.io/aiahtshimeu-hipu-off).
